About Us

On recent short trips to the South Island, we fell in love with the dramatic landscape of Central Otago, and in particular that of the Maniototo region. We decided to learn more about this area and made a lifestyle decision to re-locate from Auckland in mid-2007, along with Maisie, our friendly old cocker spaniel.

In providing hospitality to our guests, we have made a personal commitment to support local producers of food and wines wherever possible and practical. A well-lit hallway provides excellent exhibition space for both emerging and established local artists and photographers. An arrangement with Hullabaloo Art Space in Old Cromwell Town means that we can provide frequently changing displays of work.

Grant and Jan enjoy sporting and cultural interests and will be pleased to help you organise and arrange your local sightseeing excursions. We would be particularly happy to assist with your Otago Central Rail Trail arrangements, curling experience or visits to the world famous pinot noir regions of Cromwell and Earnscleugh.
