"SallyCyril says "Great place to rest up!" Thank you Sherry. Your attention to detail is superb and makes for a most enjoyable stay. The homemade afternoon tea, warming log fire, private lounges, fresh flowers in every room. We will return!! The Old Doctor's Residence is a beautifully maintained historic building in the village of Naesby. Within walking distance is the curling rink which many laughs were had! A must see if you are nearby"

"Reviewed by Sian G 15 Apr 2018 Absolute perfection! As soon as we stepped foot inside this gorgeous old villa we knew that we had arrived somewhere special! The Old Doctor's Residence was absolutely gorgeous and the attention to detail was incredible. Our room was so luxurious, it was most definitely fit for a Queen. Sherry was amazing and made us feel very much at home. You could tell by the state of the house and the little added touches (e.g the afternoon tea and homemade muesli) that Sherry puts everything into her job to ensure guests really do have the full experience. The breakfast in the morning, WOW is all I can say. Thank you so much for the most beautiful stay, we will dream about the Old Doctor's Residence until we are able to return one day soon."

"Reviewed by GR_Horsburgh 14 Apr 2018 A Perfect Spot Everything a good B&B should be - with extraordinary attention to detail by Sherry who will be sadly missed when she leaves. We could not have asked for more. Breakfast would have done credit to a 5 star Paris hotel."

""northotago", from Oamaru, NZ says; We had a lovely stay here. Sherry was very welcoming and looked after us with a lovely afternoon tea before we set off curling. The room ( Danseys ) was lovely and warm and it was great to come back in the evening to the wood fire in the lounge .No need to take a car to eateries as easy walking distance. Tea and coffee facilities were excellent as were the bathroom amenities. Breakfast was delicious made by Sherry. We felt looked after. ! Thanks Sherry"

"SG Arnold from London, Canada says... “New owners... great B&B” We were in Naseby curling and the organizers booked us into The Old Doctor's Residence. We were the first guests for the new owners and we couldn't be happier. Our breakfasts cooked by Sherry were out of the world and the rooms and amenities were all first class. Highly recommended. And don't miss the Black Forest Café for lunch and one of the pubs for dinner. Great food everywhere in Naseby. And best yet, the only indoor dedicated curling facility in the Southern Hemisphere. Good curling!"

"Reviewed by OtagoNZRider 26 Mar 2018 A very special place Hard to know where to start. Sherry, our hostess made sure everything was perfect. From the moment we arrived, Sherry made sure we wanted for nothing. Fantastic breakfasts at two quite different times over the weekend. The Old Doctors Residence has been superbly refurbished, but it is the finishing touches that make it special. All the extras right down to the tea-cups give it that authentic historical touch, at the same time making it homely. Thank you Sherry, Charlotte and David. Kind regards, Dave & Janeen"
